Structure

Two pieces of light brushwood (diam. 0.03m) set 0.74m apart in opposing drain faces. One piece has been cut to a chisel point. The site is situated in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1997. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
