Structure

A sparse deposit of brushwood on the field surface (L 0.67m; Wth 2.1m; D 0.07m). The site consists of over twenty pieces of predominantly light brushwood, which are irregularly laid, widely spaced and one piece deep. They lie in well-humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum. SMR OF019-035---- and SMR OF019-121---- are 4m and 3.9m to the SW, respectively. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
