Structure

A single piece of brushwood (L 0.69m; diam. 0.055m), orientated NNE-SSW, on the field surface. It is in good condition with some machine damage and lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with frequent Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. The material within site SMR OF019-098----, 12.4m to the W, is similarly orientated and may be associated. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
