An ash stake (diam. 0.1m) on the field surface. The piece bares a metal-cut chisel point and sits in poorly humified Eriophorum and Sphagnum peat. It may be associated with SMR OF015-464----, located 5.5m to the E. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
