No record exists either way. The chamber is complete, the ledger balanced, the witness absent. You can wonder what the system saw or refuse to wonder. Refusal is not clarity, it is a cage.
A small standing stone was noted in 1955 at the N edge of the rath (ME036-009----) but it was not present in 1969 (SMR file).
