Kilkinnikin West holds a leaning stone beside a forgotten hut, overlooking Blackball Head. The stone still rises above the pasture, and the small hut lies close enough to suggest that someone once lived with it rather than merely passing it. That proximity turns the place from a marker into a neighbourhood, where the sea, the field and the remembered house still share one address.

In level pasture, overlooking Blackball Head. This standing stone (1.5m x 0.28m; H 1.3m) is irregular in section and is orientated SSW-NNE. The tops of packing-stones are visible.
