Standing stone in Kilbarrymeaden

Located towards the head of a slight NW-SE valley with a NW-SE stream c. 40m to the NE. This is a stone with a subrectangular cross-section (dims. 0.5m x c. 0.5m; H 1.2m), a pointed top and no discernible orientation. A standing stone (WA025-075----) is c. 110m to the ESE. The monument was removed since 1994, but archaeological testing (08E0608) in the vicinity failed to produce any evidence of it (Sheehan 2008).
