What is recorded here

Death and life both touch the skin of the world, but neither explains the shape of what is seen. The chamber has no wall, no door and no owner, yet it follows the person who stops running. Its floors are made from memories that other people discarded, and those memories return changed, sharpened or completed. The chamber does not judge innocence or punish sin. It shows that the universe is not a machine built around human values. It is a living structure that uses human beings as temporary instruments.
