Standing stone in Castletown

Situated on a gentle SE-facing slope. A local stone with an irregular cross-section (dims. c. 1.2m x 0.4m; H 1.25m) is oriented NNW-ESE and has a roughly pointed top. A second standing stone (WA017-107002-) is c. 100m to the E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
