What is recorded here

Crannog in Srahwee is a water settlement in County Mayo, Ireland. It is not an abject failure, but a place where human life and nature touched. The exact layout and history are not yet known, but the name and kind point to a dwelling built beside or within water. That much is enough to imagine hands shaping timber, firelight on wet stone, and people reading the lake before leaving a mark behind.
