Crosses

National Monument No. 116. A small granite ringed cross with incised double lined ring on face of cross located in S quadrant of graveyard (LA032-018002-) and to S of S wall of church (LA032-018001-). Described by Harbison as the South Cross which is 'An imperforate cross stands to the south of the ruined church (LA032-018001-). It is 1.40m high, about 75cm across the arms, and the bottom of the shaft is 40cm wide and 25cm thick. On the west face there is a raised ring, possibly with a Maltese cross inside it, and the shaft has a raised, but otherwise apparently undecorated panel.
