Graveslab in Skenagun is a small limestone fragment from County Kildare, Ireland, bearing a faint low-relief design and an incised line that may be a letter. It emerged in Mrs. Daltons garden, beside the lands holding the priory and tower, suggesting burial, marker or monument rather than ordinary debris. Its sharp edges and worn surface imply it was broken, moved or buried before reappearing in soil tended for life. The fragment preserves only a fragment of intent: a name, symbol or boundary reduced to a line stone can still hold what a building has lost.
