Grave Yard in County Offaly holds early 18th-century headstones and fragments of a late medieval church, suggesting the 19th-century C of I church rose where an older worship place once stood. One broken window fragment even faces the gates from across the road, as if the old building had turned to watch the living pass. Death and memory are not hidden there; they are embedded in the stones, waiting to be read.

19th-century C of I church was probably built on the site of an earlier medieval church (OF042-026----). The graveyard contains several early 18th-century headstones worthy of recording. Architectural fragments of a late medieval church have been used as headstones in graveyard.
