Hut site in Shehy Beg

In rough hill grazing, on bog, on a terrace on the upper S-facing slopes of Shehy Beg. The remains of a circular hut site (3.8m E-W; 3.6m N-S) defined by the lower courses of a collapsing drystone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.5m) which protrudes above the surface of the bog. The level interior, which is covered with heather, is raised (H 0.3m) at the S. Another hut site (CO093-079001-) is c. 70m to the NE.
