Indicated is a crannog in Shanballybaun, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a five-metre overgrown mound of earth and stone one hundred metres from the southeast shore of Shanballybaun Lough. A wide sloping shore extends five metres beneath the water before falling away steeply, while vertical timbers remain visible in the eastern water.

In Shanballybaun Lough (max. dims. c. 550m NE-SW; c. 350m NW-SE), c. 100m from the SE shore. Overgrown mound (diam. 5m; H c. 0.4m) of earth and stone with a wide sloping shore benath the water (Wth c. 5m) which then falls away steeply.
