A series of banks visible on aerial photograph (GSI, S 150-1). Possibly the site of secular medieval settlement (Cunningham 1987, 159-61). Aerial photograph (GB90.CN.06) shows sequence of parallel banks and fosses defining a field system associated with the medieval deserted village. Well-preserved earthworks in pasture, with a small section under cultivation. Located south-west of Aghaboe. The above aerial report has been compiled by Dr. G.F. Barrett and supplied to the Archaeological Survey of Ireland.
