What is recorded here
On a level landscape. Marked only on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a small roofed structure (dims c. 10m E-W; c. 5m N-S) and it is described as 'Sanavilla Old House' in italic script. There is no other information, and it is not visible now at ground level. The name indicates a classical house, probably 18th century, in date.
