What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Runnaruag, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a rise in a gently undulating landscape and appears only on the 1927 edition of the OS 6-inch map. A circular grass-covered area measures about 22m north-south and 21m east-west, bounded by an earthen bank that narrows to a low scarp on parts of its circumference. No visible fosse or entrance remains identifiable.
Marked only on the 1927 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a rise in a gently undulating landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 22m N-S; 21m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.6-5.7m; int. H 0.5-0.7m; ext. H 1.1.-1.5m) SE-W-NE which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.9m) elsewhere.
