Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Roxborough, County Roscommon, Ireland. It appears as a grass-covered circular area about 36 metres across, defined by a slight scarp 0.2 metres high in a low-lying landscape. A related rath sits about 120 metres to the northwest.
Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 25-30m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and as a complete circular enclosure with an outer fosse W-NE on the 1927 ed. Situated in a low-lying landscape. Described in 1968 as a circular area (diam. c. 35m) defined by a fosse (Wth c. 4m; int. D c. 0.9m; ext. D c. 0.3m) (SMR file). It is now visible as a grass-covered circular area (diam. c. 36m) defined by a slight scarp (H 0.2m). Rath (RO039-017----) is c. 120m to the NW.
