What is recorded here

Indicated was a fairy fort on a gentle north-facing slope in County Cork, drawn as a thirty-five-metre circular enclosure before pasture and ploughing erased it. It may have marked a boundary, sheltered a household or simply gave the land a name recognizable at a distance. The foramen is gone, but the distinction remains: some places are known only because they were marked before they disappeared.

In pasture, on gentle N-facing slope. Hachured as circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as curved field fence on later eds OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace.
