What is recorded here
Don 33 and a second uphill stone carry cupmarks near Magheranaul, County Donegal. They are small, buried under grass and memory, yet deep enough to have required patience and purpose. Someone stood there in rain or sunlight, striking or rubbing stone until it dimpled. The hills kept the shape while human names and tools disappeared.
Described by Van Hoek as 'A few metres NE of DON 33 (DG004-071001-) and further uphill is another stone with two cupmarks' (Van Hoek 1987, 39).
