Carrowreagh and Craignacally hold one cupmark on the north face of a western gate slab. The small depression sits beside a rural entrance rather than on a remote mountain top. A person may have marked the gate during ordinary work, turning a functional boundary into a memorable landmark. The stone still waits for that lost moment to return.
