Spear-headed cast-iron railings, c. 1870, set in limestone plinths. Square-profile cast-iron pier with double-leaf cast-iron gates leading to rendered steps having brick walls with square-profile brick piers, render caps and balustrades.
Cast-iron railings and pier displaying high quality design and execution. The gates form the boundary to the planned public promenade and form an attractive roadside feature.
