Indicated, Reeves is a hidden bawn beside a Kildare tower house, its rectangular boundary still visible only when crops grow uneven above the old ditch. Modern farm buildings and a concrete yard now cover most of the ground, yet the defended gate arch preserves the idea that this was once a closed working space. People may have lived, stored, traded or fled through that entrance before the fields changed.

On the W side of a tower house (KD015-002001-), which retains traces of a defended gate arch giving access to the bawn. A 1973 aerial photograph (CUCAP BOC39) shows the cropmark of a fosse defining a rectangular area (dims. L c. 65m NE-SW; Wth c. 50m NW-SE).
