Marked as circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 65m) only on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6- inch map and situated on a SE-facing slope. There is local knowledge of the former existence of a portion of an earthen bank, which is no longer visible at ground level in pasture. Ringfort (WX036-002----) is c. 60m to the W.
The abpve description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
