Indicated

Situated on a triangular promontory jutting S (int. dims. c. 36m N-S; c. 25m E-W). It is defended on the landward side by a grass-covered earthen bank (Wth 7.5m; int. H 1m; ext. H 2.8m) and outer fosse (Wth at base 2.65m; D 1.3m). An outer berm (Wth 20m) separates the fosse from a modern field bank. There is no visible entrance or causeway.
