Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Rathmacarty West is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Rathmacarty West, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies an oval area measuring 34 metres from northwest to southeast and 24 metres from northeast to southwest, defined by a substantial earthen bank 9.75 metres wide, 0.75 metres high internally and 2 metres high externally. The entrance is 9.0 metres wide at the east, the bank top is removed from the west to northwest, and the interior tilts slightly downslope toward the southeast.
In pasture, on a gentle S-facing slope. Oval area (dims. 34m NW-SE; 24m NE-SW) defined by substantial earthen bank (Wth 9.75m; int. H 0.75m; ext. H 2m). Bank top removed W-NW. Entrance (Wth 9.0m) at E. Interior has slight tilt downslope to SE. Ringfort-rath (TS069-043----) located 220m to E.
