What is recorded here
Rathlaheen Castle stood as a tower house in County Clare, Ireland, before falling into ruin by 1951. Whether it guarded a narrow pass, stored grain for a hungry winter, or simply watched the road for trouble, its stones still hold that purpose. The collapse did not erase the building; it returned the castle to the earth that first gave it shape.
