Moated site in Rathdrought

In pasture on S-facing slope. Rectangular area (41.5m E-W; 35m N-S) defined by scarp (H 2m) to S; earthen bank (H 1.1m) to W, N and E. Fosse (D 0.6m) on E side and at NW corner; stream bounds bank to W. Entrance (Wth 5.6m) with possible causeway at E. Interior slopes gently downwards to S.
