What is recorded here
On the crest of an esker ridge in pastureland. Well-preserved circular house site (diam. 8.5m) defined by a grassed-over bank which is revetted internally with large boulders. At ESE an entrance passageway (L 5.3m; Wth 2.7m) is defined by two lines of set boulders. Surrounding the monument from N through E to S is a wide irregular fosse, possibly the result of quarrying. (McCaffrey 1952, 247, no. 112)
