Rathard is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Rathard, Woodinstown, County Tipperary, Ireland. The bivallate monument measures 72 metres north-south and 71 metres east-west on a broad, flat-topped hill. Its round-topped inner bank is 5 metres wide at the base, 1.16 metres high internally and 1.7 metres above the intervening flat-bottomed ditch. The ditch is 2 metres wide. Beyond it, a broad flat-topped outer bank measures 5 metres across its crest and rises 1.71 metres above the ditch and 1.3 metres above the exterior. A 1.6-metre entrance lies in the west-southwest quadrant, while the source records parts of both banks as levelled in the northeast.

On crest of broad, flat-topped hill, enclosed by tillage. Bivallate monument (overall diam. 72m N-S; 71m E-W), banks heavily overgrown with scrub, interior nettle and bramble filled. Entrance (Wth 1.6m) in WSW quad. Inner bank (Wth 5m base; int. H 1.16m; H above fosse 1.7m) is round-topped, narrower than outer bank. Intervening flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 2m); outer bank is very broad and flat-topped (Wth 5m crest; H above fosse 1.71m; H above ext. 1.3m). According to landowner years ago he used to drive a tractor along the top of the outer bank when it was clear of vegetation. N quadrant located N of field boundary which is also a parish and townland boundary. NE section part of outer bank and possibly inner bank has been levelled, interior very overgrown.
