What is recorded here
Mortars stripped the edge of the hill but never touched the heart. The building rose around the old ring instead of erasing it, forcing new life to bend around a shape nobody could name. That is why the room still feels crowded long after every chair leaves.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH reused as TREE RING. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.; MODERN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
