RATH (O.S. memoir site, unlocated) in Timaconway

RATH (O.S. memoir site, unlocated)

What is recorded here

Bog water, black and endless, the kind that swallows boots and memories alike. A man stood knee-deep at dawn, staring into the green dark, certain something moved below. He waded out, lungs burning, and did not return for hours. When he came back he smiled, shook water from his sleeves, and said only that the lake had shown him a room he forgot he owned.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH (O.S. memoir site, unlocated). Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
