In improved, lush pasture, on a SE-facing slope. Depicted on the 2nd (1906) ed. OS 6-inch map as a rectangular enclosure (dims. c. 50m NE-SW; c. 45m NW-SE). Though there are undulations across the field the monument is not visible at ground level.
