What is recorded here

One chamber on High Island, a shallow bin of dark stone, holds the broken cross-slab taken from that place. The surviving fragment is small enough to lift, yet heavy in meaning: a straight groove, a cross bar, and forked ends cut through mica-schist. It is not a complete monument, but a displaced piece of the island's marked stonework, preserved where it can still be seen.

Originally located on High Island (see GA021-026049-). Described by Fisher (2014, 212, no. 23, Fig. 7.5) as a rectilinear slab of garnet mica-schist (H 0.67m; Wth 0.53m; T 0.09m), which was broken across obliquely at the left foot. One face was decorated. It is filled with a grooved linear cross with forked terminals, similar to that on the N face of the cross-slab (GA021-026007-) near the holy well (GA021-026007-) the island.
