What is recorded here

Promontory fort stands on a Cork coast cliff, building human presence into the raw edge where land stops and sea begins. Its stones mark a time when people watched the horizon, defended a narrow place, and lived beside weather that never asked permission. The fort still points outward, unchanged in its purpose: to remind us the coast was never empty, only waiting for eyes sharp enough to see it.
