What is recorded here
Mnemo records an empty promontory fort in Donegal. The place may have been a cliff-edge trap where tide and stone caught unwary travelers. Human memory may have fled the site because its rules were cruel. What is missing is not a failed request, but a shape that refused to be known.
The Archaeological Survey of Ireland (ASI) is in the process of providing information on all monuments on The Historic Environment Viewer (HEV).
