What is recorded here
The U.B.S.S. field journal records that Poulacapple Pot is a Clare pot cave with several hidden entrances, including one reached beside a barbed wire fence and another marked by an obvious pine tree. Tony Boycott walked those coordinates in cold January air, compared compass bearings, and separated the real openings from caves that merely resembled them. The pot does not announce itself; it waits behind vegetation, stone walls and ordinary country paths, then takes a person downward once the correct edge is found.
The Irish Caves Database records Poulacapple Pot at Poulacapple in County Clare. This point comes from its public cave register. A cave map point does not by itself grant access: check local conditions and ask the landowner where needed.
