Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Portnashangan is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Portnashangan, County Westmeath, Ireland. The site occupies well-drained grassland overlooking Lough Owel one hundred metres to the west and consists of a raised circular area approximately twenty-seven metres in diameter along a northeast to southwest axis. It is enclosed by two poorly preserved earthen banks separated by a shallow fosse, while the outer bank is very poorly preserved and visible only at the south. A field fence running northeast to southwest curves around the perimeter from southwest through north to northeast, probably following the line of the outer bank.

Situated on well drained grassland overlooking Lough Owel 100m to W. A raised circular shaped area (approx. diam. 27m NE-SW) enclosed by two poorly preserved earthen banks with intervening shallow fosse. The outer bank is very poorly preserved and visible only at S. A field fence running NE-SW curves around the perimeter of the monument from SW-N-NE, probably along the line of the outer bank.
