What is recorded here
On the N edge of Parke G.A.A club’s playing pitches at the NE foot of a broad ridge. Reported (along with a second possible fulacht fia, MA070-091002-, c. 80m to the ESE) as a possible fulacht fia visible in the section face of a drain (SMR file). No visible surface trace survives and archaeological test excavation (Excavation Licence No. 21E0490) in the area in advance of pitch improvement works revealed nothing of archaeological significance: https://excavations.ie/report/2023/Mayo/0033273/
