Situated on a slight natural rise surrounded by gently undulating grassland. Ringfort (WM010-025----) 360m to NE. A slightly raised circular-shaped area (approx. diam 30m N-S) enclosed by two earthen banks and an intervening wide deep fosse. The inner bank is substantial, while the poorly preserved outer bank is only faintly visible from S-W-NW. There is an entrance gap (Wth 2.6m) and causeway (Wth 5.8m; H 0.6m) through the inner bank and fosse at SSE. The interior slopes slightly from S-N.
