Three stones with fragments of ogham inscriptions were re-used as roofstones in Man-made underground passage 2 (ME005-104----). This sandstone boulder (L c. 1.4m; max. dims 0.74m x 0.33m) was in the outer part of the entrance passage. The inscription on a ridge of the stone rather than an edge is incomplete. It has been read by Fionnbarr Moore as: R…CTVI, with a vowel, either E or I after the R. (Eogan 1990, 61-2) Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 5 September 2018
