Discovered 'lying in a field near Seneschalstown House' (Macalister 1945, 45) this stone is in the National Museum of Ireland (see DU018-391----). The stone (2.24m x 0.76m x 0.33m) bears an 'inscription in two lines on the face, not on the edge (up-up)' which Macalister read as: MAQI-CAIRATINI AVI INEQAGLAS (ibid.). (Moore 1987, no. 1585) This stone has been studied as part of the ‘Ogham in 3D’ project undertaken by the School of Celtic Studies, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies.
