What is recorded here

Nooan’s stone ringfort stands as a boundary marker between human memory and fairy ownership. The local name suggests people stopped calling it a home because the stones belonged elsewhere. It is a small circular fort in County Clare, but the fairy label warns that the land still answers to older rules.
