Killallon Edge holds a faded ring where human hands first shaped the earth. Inside the broken circle stands a smaller rectangular chamber, its walls still thick enough to mark the rooms where people lived, breathed and left the place behind. The fairies entered later, taking the abandoned house as their own. They still walk the grass at midnight, waiting for the human shape to return.

Located on a slight rise in an undulating low-lying landscape. This is a slightly raised and circular grass-covered area (diam. 36m E-W; 34.5m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (at N: Wth of base 5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.2m) largely reduced to a scarp (at S: Wth 4.3m; H 1.6m), with the remnants of a fosse (Wth of base 2.6m; D 0.2m) at N, and a berm (at S: Wth 3-4m) at other points. The original entrance is not identified, but there is a rectangular, grass-covered house (int. dims 7.7m E-W; 5.8m N-S) at the centre. It is defined by broad low earthen banks (Wth 3.5-5.5m; H 0.3-0.5m) with a wide entrance gap (Wth 2m) at E.
