Depicted on the Down Survey (1655-6) barony map of Longford and annotated 'Mr. John Kenedys house called Mullough als Prospect' (NLI, MS 719). It is shown as a long, two-storey, triple-gable-fronted building, possibly with a dormer attic, with tall rectangular chimney stacks rising high above the roof-line. It may have been a plantation house similar to that at Rathcline (LF017-009003-). Its precise location has not been identified. It may have been on or close to the ruins of 'Mullagh House', which dates to the 19th century. (Simington 1961, vol. 10, 50) Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien Date of upload: 2 August 2013
