One and a half metres of grey rock still stands at the western edge of a shelf beneath Slieve na Calliagh, its rectangular base cutting through grass and memory. The top is broken or worn, suggesting violence or time, yet the stone refuses to fall. It may have marked a boundary, a burial, or a warning, but it no longer explains itself.

Located just off the W edge of a shelf in the W foothills of the ENE-WSW Slieve na Calliagh ridge. This is an upright stone with a regular rectangular cross-section at the base (dims 0.55-0.65m NW-SE; 0.45m NE-SW) with a slightly irregular and perhaps damaged top (H 1.7m).
