What is recorded here

Muinganine holds one of three stones recorded by Bowman in 1934 on P. Jone's farm, measuring 2ft 7in by 5ft 9in girth. The exact spot has slipped from local memory, but the stone likely marked a boundary, a burial or a gathering place before written records reached North Cork. Its survival depends on whether P. Jone's descendants still recognise the shape among the grass.
