Detached multiple-bay two-storey house, built 1922. There are large irregular shaped wings to the north rear. There is a long two-storey house built in the 1990s to the rear of the house. It is finished in render. To the south front there are two two-storey bow-fronted bays. Windows are casement. The hipped roof is finished in natural slate with cast-iron rainwater goods. The house is set within landscaped demesne.

This early 20th century house is set within extensive landscaped gardens whose importance is perhaps greater than the house.
