According to Begley (1906, 21), in the townland of Glenmore, near Glenquin Castle (LI044-035---), 'is a large earthen ridge, artificially formed and known as the Big Man's Bed, or giant's grave'. Exact location of this feature not known. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 26 August 2011
Neolithic passage tomb, c. 3500–2500 BCE; it is a significant example of early megalithic funerary architecture associated with the passage tomb tradition in Ireland.
